Gasoline
Four out of the six powertrains that are offered in the 2021 Ford F-150 are gasoline-fueled. There are two V6 and two V8 engine options out of the group. The most powerful engine of the gasoline engines produces 400 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque.
Diesel
There is only one diesel engine option that is available for the 2021 Ford F-150, a Power Stroke V6 diesel engine that is turbocharged and produces 440 pound-feet of torque.
Hybrid
The hybrid powertrain that is available for the 2021 Ford F-150 is new to the lineup. Named PowerBoost, the powertrain combines a turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 and an electric motor. The F-150 hybrid powerplant produces 430 horsepower and 570 pound-feet of torque.
