The system can scan for an available parking space, then assist in guiding the vehicle into that space. The driver only need work the brake and gas pedal, the Explorer does the rest.
The adaptive cruise control feature is more advanced than a simple cruise control. Scanning the road ahead, this feature can identify slower moving vehicle and power down the brakes until clear, then resume the speed to make certain a safe buffer is always maintained.
